EP4U Fact-File | Tomáš Zdechovský MEP, EPP

In this series of videos from TEPSA’s “European Policies for You” (#EP4U) project, we will invite MEPs from around the EU to explain how the Union is contributing to the development of youth opportunities in their country.

In this video, Tomáš Zdechovský, MEP from the Czech Republic in the European People’s Party group of the European Parliament, talks about some crucial decisions taken in the European Parliament in the current term of office, which are important for young people in the Czech Republic and in other Member States.

He highlights a number of key working areas in which he is dedicated to representing his constituents’ interests, including as Vice-President of the Employment and Social Affairs Committee, where he has worked on employee rights with a special consideration of how the world of work has changed since the beginning of the COVID crisis.
