EP4U Fact File | Sara Cerdas MEP, S&D

In this new series of videos from TEPSA’s “European Policies for You” (EP4U) project, we will invite MEPs from around the EU to explain how the Union is contributing to the development of youth opportunities in their country.

In this video, Sara Cerdas, MEP from Portugal in the Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats (S&D) in the European Parliament, talks about some crucial decisions taken in the European Parliament in the current term of office, which are important for young people in Portugal and in other Member States.

She highlights a number of key working areas in which she is dedicated to representing her constituents’ interests, including the Committees for Environment, Public Health and Food Safety, the Committee on Transport and Tourism, and also the Special Committee on Beating Cancer, of which she is the Vice-President, and the Working Group on Health, of which she is Vice-Chair.

Stay tuned for future videos in the EP4U Fact Files series, where we’ll be meeting more MEPs from all over Europe!
