Nina Weytjens was a Project Assistant at TEPSA in Summer 2024. She assisted in the implementation of TEPSA’s Operating Grant and the Horizon Europe project “Reclaiming Liberal Democracy in the Post-Factual Age (RECLAIM)”. She also assisted in the provision of external expertise to the European Parliament via TEPSA’s Framework Contracts.

Prior to joining TEPSA, Nina completed an internship at UN IFAD, where she worked in the Office of the General Counsel, providing legal support across various aspects of IFAD’s operations. Her responsibilities included drafting and negotiating financial agreements, conducting research on climate litigation, impact investment and organizing conferences. Her main interests are discrimination and gender law and International Human Rights. Nina holds a trilingual bachelor’s degree from Université Saint-Louis Brussels and KUL and a master’s degree in law with a focus on Protection of International Human Rights from UCLouvain, complemented by an enriching Erasmus experience in Barcelona at UPF.  Nina has often also taken up voluntary roles such as being Vice-President of the debating society Olivaint, or participating in focus groups at the FEB/VBO as a youth-ambassador.
