Izabela Surwillo is a Senior Researcher at the Danish Institute for International Studies. Her current research analyses the development of new energy infrastructure projects in the Baltic Sea Region. She analyzes what role scientific knowledge and technical data play in the decision-making process and public communication about these projects. She also studies low carbon energy transitions and wider political developments in Central and Eastern Europe, including countries such as Poland and Ukraine.
