The Trans European Policy Studies Association (TEPSA) is an historic institution and Europe’s first research network specialising in EU affairs. For the last 50 years, we have been at the forefront of bridging the gap between all strata of society, from the most influential policy-makers in the corridors of power to everyday members of the European public.
Through our network of 49 member institutes in 37 European countries, including all of the EU27, we have always put the advancement of knowledge, good analysis, and constructive policy advice at the centre of our work. And we will continue to do so.
To carry us forward into the future of our association, we’re changing the way we look. So let’s meet the new TEPSA!
We want to reflect who we truly are: an engaged, forward-looking, and dynamic association with ground-breaking activities and a pan-European network fully committed to advancing the European project in all areas.
Whether it’s via our regular policy analysis in the European Council Experts’ Debrief or TEPSA Briefs, or our insightful audio-visual content in video series like EuropeChats, TEPSA will continue to lead the way in providing high quality insight into the latest European developments.
As we have been doing for nearly 50 years, TEPSA will continue to bring stakeholders together in open discussion on the future of Europe. Whether its via our biannual Pre-Presidency Conferences or via any number of training activities for young Europeans, our commitment to bringing diverse voices to the table in assessment of current affairs will never waver.
Everything we do has an impact. Whether small or large, short- or long-term, success or failure, everything factors in to where the European project is headed. That’s why the TEPSA network is proud to offer policy advice that takes all elements into account. Our policy advice is built on the foundations of our analysis and assessment to ensure no stone is left unturned. When we give recommendations to incoming presidencies of the Council of the European Union, when we hear from national perspectives in every chapter of our annual book, when we convey, via any channel, our network’s advice to policy-makers, we make sure it is realistic, achievable, and offers a concrete vision for the future of Europe.
But that’s not all. Fans of our podcast, commentary series, public debates, and EU-funded projects will not be disappointed either! There is much more to TEPSA, and we can’t wait to show you.
