TEPSA-Comenius University Trans European Debate on migration

On 18 September 2019, the Ministry of Foreign And European Affairs of the Slovak Republic in Bratislava hosted a Trans European Debate on migration co-organised by TEPSA and its Slovak member, Comenius University, with the support of the Europe for Citizens Programme.

Peter Stano, coordinator for migration in the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, opened the debate, which was moderated by  Lucia Mokrá, (Chairperson of the TEPSA Board and Dean of the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences at Comenius University), and was attended by more than 40 citizens.

Prof. Jaap de Zwaan (TEPSA Secretary General and Emeritus Professor at the Erasmus University Rotterdam), Clarissa do Nascimento Tabosa (FSES CU), and Lucia Najšlová (Charles University, Czech Republic) provided their expertise on migration policies in the European Union and in the Visegrád Four countries.

More About Europe for Citizens

TEPSA was a beneficiary of an Operating Grant awarded in the framework of the Europe for Citizens Programme of the European Union for the period 2018-2020. Within its work programme, TEPSA organised a number of events both in Brussels and in the Member States, in cooperation with its member institutes. The Operating grant also supported the statutory activities of the TEPSA Secretariat, such as the meetings of the governing bodies and TEPSA’s communication activities.
