Euroscepticism in Hungary and Slovenia: an Analysis

On September 21, the Institute of World Economics CERS and the Trans European Policy Studies Association (TEPSA), hosted an online debate on the topic of Euroscepticism in Slovenia and Hungary, to celebrate the publication of the TEPSA Book: “Euroscepticism and the Future of Europe – Views from the Capitals”, edited by Michael Kaeding, Johannes Pollak, and Paul Schmidt.

This online presentation featured contributions from Maja Bučar, Chair of International Relations of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Ljubljana and head of the Expert Council for International Development Cooperation at the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and András Inotai, Professor Emeritus and former Director of the Institute of World Economics.

The event took place on September 21 at 10:00 AM.

This event was linked with the upcoming edition of the TEPSA Book “Euroscepticism and the Future of Europe: Views from the Capitals“, edited by Paul Schmidt, Michael Kaeding and Johannes Pollak. Two of the book’s chapters focus on the topic of Euroscepticism in Hungary and Slovenia.

More About Europe for Citizens

TEPSA was a beneficiary of an Operating Grant awarded in the framework of the Europe for Citizens Programme of the European Union for the period 2018-2020. Within its work programme, TEPSA organised a number of events both in Brussels and in the Member States, in cooperation with its member institutes. The Operating grant also supported the statutory activities of the TEPSA Secretariat, such as the meetings of the governing bodies and TEPSA’s communication activities.
