Call for Contributions: VIADUCT Research Award

We are delighted to announce the second round of VIADUCT Research Awards.

Objectives:

To recognise outstanding research in the fields of EU-Turkey relations and the Future of the EU: new forms of relations between the EU-27 and neighbouring countries with a focus on innovative methods in researching this subject. The VIADUCT research Awards invite nominations of junior and senior researchers from different geographical and disciplinary backgrounds. In 2020, the award will be given out in the following category:

Migration, Identity and Globalisation (‘People’) Awards

Awards will be given at the VIADUCT annual conference (anticipated autumn 2020). The paper will be rewarded with a prize money of €1000.

Nominations:

Nominations of outstanding researchers in the field of EU-Turkey relations (broadly defined) are welcome. Self-nominations are also welcome. Nominations should include the name of the individual nominated and the research paper. Research awards will be given to authors only. Previously published papers are eligible. Nominations should be send to Tina Alyssandraki (tina@eliamep.gr).

The deadline for nominations is midnight on 31 May 2020.

More About VIADUCT

VIADUCT was a project aiming at creating an academic network linking universities and think-tanks from the EU, Turkey and the neighbourhood to build knowledge on EU-Turkey Cooperation. Coordinated by Prof Wolfgang Wessels and Dr Funda Tekin at CETEUS, University of Cologne, the Jean Monnet Network VIADUCT was launched on 1st September 2017 and ran for a period of three years till 31st August 2020.
