TEPSA is happy to present the student paper “The forgotten solidarity, Taxes – A look into the Irish case” written by Rocío Fernández Suárez, from the Institut Barcelona de Estudis Internacionals (IBEI).
Rocío Fernández Suárez argues in her paper that solidarity should be achieved within the EU also in the field of taxation to avoid mistrust and to enhance fair competition. Among other ideas, she proposes the creation of an harmonisation plan and an EU Code of Conduct on business taxation.
