TEPSA is happy to present its new policy brief “Multistakeholderism in the EU’s Trade Governance”, written by Diana Potjomkina (PhD Fellow affiliated with Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Ghent University and United Nations University – CRIS).

This policy brief contributes practical insights to the intense debate on engagement of stakeholders in the European Union’s trade policy. In response to growing demand for a constructive dialogue with stakeholders on trade, the EU is developing new mechanisms and adjusting existing ones. However, overall, its current system for consultation remains disjointed and weak. This brief analyses gaps in the consultation regime and
provides recommendations.
