Following the publication of ActEU’s “Report on the General Dynamics of Trust based on Secondary Analysis“, TEPSA produced an infographic exploring the trends of political trust in Europe.

The report, authored by Henrik Serup Christensen, Janette Huttunen, Alexandros-Christos Gkotinakos, Eftichia Teperoglou, Jens Carstens, Laura Morales, Carles Pamies, and Chiao Li, provides a comprehensive and systematic overview of the nature, extent and evolution of the crisis of political trust throughout the European Union and the United Kingdom since the early 2000s.

How does political trust work and fluctuate? What are the factors influencing trust at the national and EU levels? And can trust be recovered? This infographic responds to these questions by summing up the report’s key arguments.
