Barbara is TEPSA’s Communications Manager. Her responsibilities include the management of all TEPSA’s communications and dissemination activities, particularly via the implementation of the organisation’s EU-funded projects including TEPSA’s “EU-Bridge” operating grant and all Horizon Europe-funded projects. In her work, Barbara regularly collaborates with relevant colleagues in TEPSA’s project management team and leadership. In addition, she is responsible for TEPSA’s day-to-day communications activities and all audio-visual content. This includes facilitating collaboration within the TEPSA Network, fostering press relations, designing and preparing dissemination materials, social media campaigns and other communications outputs.

Barbara holds a BA in English and American Literature from the University of Exeter and an MA in Contemporary Literature, Culture, and Theory from King’s College London. She also obtained a Master’s Degree in Advanced Global Studies from Università Cattolica in Milan, where she specialised in the EU’s energy transition and the implementation of the European Green Deal at the local level.

Before joining TEPSA, Barbara developed her passion for communications while working in the think tank sector. She was the Media Officer of the European Policy Centre, where she was responsible for the think tank’s media outreach and day-to-day communications activities. More recently, she worked in the Communications team of EPICO KlimaInnovation, a think tank focusing on the EU and Germany’s climate and energy policies.
