Sara Dishkova was TEPSA’s Financial Manager in early 2024, responsible for the organisation’s financial affairs. She was responsible for the preparation and control of the annual budget, annual accounts closure and annual audit processes in close cooperation with the Accountant, Programme Manager and Treasurer; for maintaining finance and administrative systems to ensure smooth and efficient processes are in place, including financial monitoring and reporting of EU grants and other projects; for ensuring compliance with the EU financial rules for eligibility; and for providing advice and capacity building on the design of internal financial control of TEPSA’s EU and other projects.

Sara is an experienced professional in the financial auditing and management of EU Funds. In addition to her assignment in TEPSA, Sara is also the Lead Consultant on Financial Management of EU Funding for the European Academy training provider. Before joining TEPSA, Sara has also worked for the European Commission as an auditor, in the domain of internal, as well as financial auditing, based on the principles of sound financial management. She has a solid background of the provisions of the EU Financial Regulation, especially with regards to Grants management.
