Call for applications: VIADUCT Teachers’ Training Seminar

The VIADUCT consortium invites applications for a Teachers’ Training Seminar, which will be organised at Charles University on 30 May – 1 June 2018.

The seminar will bring together teachers and lecturers with different disciplinary and national backgrounds from the VIADUCT network partner institutions. The aim is to exchange best practices and build a network of teachers by discussing teaching and learning strategies for courses dealing with EU-Turkey relations, and by refining existing teaching curricula. Approximately 15 teachers and lecturers from all over the EU and the neighbourhood are expected to participate in the seminar.

Prolongation of the Call for VIADUCT Teachers’ Training Seminar

The deadline of the call for applications for VIADUCT Teachers’ Training Seminar has been extended to Friday, 2 February 2018.

The seminar aims at offering to 15 participants the opportunity to exchange best practices and build a network of teachers by discussing teaching and learning strategies for courses dealing with EU-Turkey relations, and by refining existing teaching curricula.

Additionally, the seminar will take place in conjunction with the 3rd European Conference on Teaching and Learning Politics (EuroTLC 2018). Participants will, therefore, have the opportunity to attend the conference panels and other events, following the latest advances in the research on and practice of teaching and learning delivered by professionals from all over Europe and beyond.

More About VIADUCT

VIADUCT was a project aiming at creating an academic network linking universities and think-tanks from the EU, Turkey and the neighbourhood to build knowledge on EU-Turkey Cooperation. Coordinated by Prof Wolfgang Wessels and Dr Funda Tekin at CETEUS, University of Cologne, the Jean Monnet Network VIADUCT was launched on 1st September 2017 and ran for a period of three years till 31st August 2020.
