Alviina Alametsä MEP on EU Climate Policy | EP4U Interviews

What are the EU’s Climate Goals and Ambitions? Are they sufficient to tackle the threat of climate change? Or do we need to do better?

In the framework of the EP4U project, TEPSA has invited Alviina Alametsä, MEP for the Greens, to talk about her reaction to EU Climate Policy. Dr. Emma Hakala from the Finnish Institute of International Affairs, a leading expert on climate security and the environment, conducted the interview in September in Helsinki, Finland.

In this video they discuss the EU Green Deal and European Climate Law, as well as the role of young people in raising awareness of the climate crisis and the need to fight against it, and the global impact of the EU’s climate policies.
