Mathilde is a Project Manager at TEPSA. She manages the supply of external academic expertise to the European Parliament’s Committees and Subcommittees, especially on Foreign Affairs (AFET), matters of human rights (DROI), and development (DEVE).

Mathilde’s background lies in Law and Human Rights. She holds an LL.B and LL.M from Maastricht University European Law School, during which she specialised in human rights. Her academic research focuses on women and children’s rights, including in conflict settings, and she is part of the Children’s Rights Research initiative.

Prior to joining TEPSA in 2025, she first gained experience in academia as research assistant in women’s rights and lecturer in European and international law at Maastricht University. She then joined the European Commission for two years, before pursuing her career in research and human rights in the NGO sector in Uganda, East Africa.
